What we collect
Your email and name (if you create an account), the answers you enter to build documents, files generated from them, e-signature records, and payment records handled by Stripe. We don't see or store card numbers.
How we protect it
Answers are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM using a key held only on our servers. Files are stored in private storage. Access requires your login session; we never sell or share your data with advertisers.
AI features
If you use the “describe your situation” helper, the text you type is sent to an AI model to extract answers for the form. It is used only for that request and is not used to train models.
Retention and deletion
Documents stay in your vault until you delete them. Deleting your account permanently removes your documents, files and signature records. Anonymous sessions with no documents are removed after 30 days. Questions: info@starterlegal.com.
